For almost 50 years our practice has maintained the highest professional, ethical and moral standards. We are the ONLY Ob-Gyn practice in the entire area to have a physician dedicated to our hospitalized patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means that you will be attended to in a timely fashion and if emergencies occur, they will be dealt with expeditiously. You will not have to wait for your doctor to finish seeing patients in his or her office before they will be available to deliver your baby or perform your surgery. Typically, we assist each other on major operations. This means that our patients have the benefit of two surgeons instead of one surgeon and a nurse. This arrangement allows for reduced time to perform operations and a decreased risk of complications. We also make every effort to have two obstetricians present at all high risk deliveries (eg. twins, vaginal breech deliveries, etc.) in keeping with accepted guidelines for your safety and well being as well as your unborn child's.
In addition, we have dedicated a nurse to answering patient telephone questions during office hours, so that patient concerns are dealt with as soon as possible. Of course, all serious problems are discussed with a doctor prior to a final disposition being made.
We understand that no one likes to wait to see a doctor and we do our best to see our patients on time. However, our specialty is notorious for unexpected and time consuming events to occur beyond our control which may, on occasion, necessitate a delay in your being seen.
